The election was a mixed bag at the local level. We stood up for local control, supported our schools, saw Florida become redder, and elected a new president. Here's what happened and what it means for us:
What it all means is that we are tired of wokeism, identity politics, illegal immigration by the millions that is destroying cities, the hundreds of thousands of fentanyl deaths, the overbearing governmental bureaucracy at all levels, lawfare against citizens of the opposite party, men participating in women's sports, a weakened armed forces that has barely enough resources to fight a one-front war, schools that are not performing, the Democrat's hackneyed phrase "fighting for democracy," and so much more. Living in the insular Gainesville community, it's not really a surprise that many people here do not understand what four-fifths of America is feeling.
As usual, a great read. Thanks.
